IT’S SUMMERTIME!
FFL is looking forward to the next school year.  With the assistance of Braselton homes, the Corpus Christi Junior League, Rock City Church, and the Omni Hotel, we were able to provide FIFTY West Oso Elementary children with much needed school clothes.  This year we will be shopping at JC Penny’s August 16th and 17th for ONE HUNDRED children!  Please consider sponsoring a child for $100 or making a donation for this event!

Dear Friends and Partners:

You’ve been an integral part of Fish for Life through your participation, contributions and prayers.

For the past five years, Fish for Life has kept its mission to “…partner with the local juvenile justice system, and other at-risk youth to demonstrate the love of Christ to its youth, and be part of building of a better future for our city by working with the business, school, and church community. We will offer leadership, guidance, and support that will cultivate hope and transform the way these boys & girls see themselves, their families, God, and their future.”

This summer I reported how the Lord directed and gave Fish for Life the opportunity to serve more children and families in need through our partnership with West Oso ISD by school clothes shopping at JC Penney and providing backpacks, school supplies and hygiene products to their students.

And now, with the resources God has provided through you and your friends, we have had the honor of serving His people and glorifying His name through our outreach to those affected by hurricane Harvey in Corpus Christi and Rockport.

Although our high school mentorship program took a summer vacation, God’s favor has allowed Fish for Life to continue its mission, and I would like to keep that momentum going by expanding the children and families we serve, as God directs.

In doing so, I would like to ask you to prayerfully consider continuing to financially sow into this ministry, and forwarding this email to invite and encourage others to do the same.

Anyone can go to our website fishforlifecc.com and click “Give” at the top of our web page for a secure way to make a donation of any amount, or a check can be mailed to Corpus Christi Fish for Life, 502 Chaparral Drive, Victoria, Texas 77905.

Updates of our activities will be posted on our website and on social media, so I encourage you to sign up to follow us on Twitter and friend us on Facebook so that you and your friends can see what our partnership is doing, or become a part of it.

Thank you and God bless you for your support of and contribution to His ministry! God will provide!
Chuck Goodwin
